Cutting Remarks
Con – Hey ya’ll! Thanks for all the reviews so far. But just incase anyone is concerned or confused as to why Kai got so angry at Hilary, here is a short list of reasons why;
1) He was asleep when she did it.
2) Some people aren’t into getting their genital areas shaved.
3) He never gave her the go ahead to do it.
Con – Main point is he didn’t consent to it. It’s the same if a friend borrowed something from you and never asked.
Popo – Now here’s the next exciting instalment! What will Kai do? Will Hilary be forgiven? Find out….well, right now! Enjoy!

Hilary sat on her bed, looking at the phone sadly. She had figured Kai would have calmed down; and called her wanting her to come back for the night; wanting cuddles and affection.
But she had not received such a thing; and by two o’clock, she felt rather stupid for what she had done. She pondered calling him; knowing he’d probably be up; reaching for the phone; hesitating at the last moment – she didn’t want to imagine how he would react…and didn’t want to find out just yet.
“Maybe in the morning,” she told her, lying back down on her bed, pouting; missing the warm, comforting arms of her boyfriend.
***
Hilary was really upset; Kai hadn’t spoken to her in a week and he wouldn’t return any calls. It was bad enough that she had mad him angry but it felt even worse that he hated her now.
She fought the urge to cry when she sat down at the porch in Tyson’s dojo, sighing loudly as she sat.
“He really must hate me now…I’m such an idiot…I thought he loved me…I can’t believe I blew it…”
“Is something up Hil?” Tyson asked. “You look miserable.”
“Thanks for that!” She frowned, folding her arms.
“Hey, just saying what I see,” Tyson shrugged, sitting beside her. “Wanna tell me what’s wrong?”
Hilary sighed, hanging her head.
“What’s wrong?” Tyson asked, wrapping an arm round her shoulder.
“Kai hates me…” Hilary mumbled sadly.
“He doesn’t hate you,” Tyson shook his head.
“Yes he does.” Hilary argued.
“I’m sure he doesn’t; he adores you.” Tyson smiled to cheer her up.
“Then why hasn’t he spoken to me in a week?” Hilary asked him.
“Well, I can’t really answer that for Kai, but all I know is that he’s been overly cranky all week.”
“I knew it…” Hilary sighed.
“Knew what?” Tyson asked, cocking his head.
“I knew he was mad at me.” She sniffled.
“Hey don’t cry Hilary.” Tyson said softly, giving her a well needed hug, Hilary hugging into him tightly as she let a few sobs out.
“Kai’s not mad at you.”
“Yes he is; it’s my fault he’s angry at me,” She nodded into his shoulder.
“I don’t see why he’d be mad at you Hil.”
“He is,” she told him. “I ruined what we had!”
“How…?” Tyson pulled back from the hug, staring at her in confusion. “How could you do that?”
Hilary wiped her eyes as she sobbed a few more times, hugging her knees as she looked up to Tyson, loosing a breath when she saw who was standing behind him.
Kai.
“Kai…I…” she began, looking up at Kai, although Tyson didn’t notice she wasn’t not looking at him.
Kai was frowning, running a hand over the exposed part of his neck, mouthing: ‘don’t, you, dare!’
“Hilary?” Tyson repeated, snapping her out of her Kai daze.
“Oh, right! Sorry, spaced out there.” She wiped her eyes again. “I think Kai’s mad at me, cause I….I, I ate the last of his cookies!”
She made it up; she couldn’t tell him what she actually did. Then Kai would never speak to her again!
“Oh right, I hear you,” Tyson chuckled. “Kai can have such a sweet-tooth some days. He’ll get really mad if you finish off his Jaffa Cakes.”
Hilary giggled; even though it started as a lie, Tyson had cheered her up a little; and she now knew something else about Kai.
She looked up again to see him walking off round the corner.
“You’re smiling again! That’s our Hil!” Tyson smiled.
“Yeah, I feel better already,” Hilary nodded, smiling at him. “Thank you Tyson.” She hugged him again.
“Aw, it’s alright Hil; you know any of us would do anything for you.”
“I appreciate that.” She smiled.
“Hey, Kai’s hanging around if you feel brave enough to go see him…” Tyson suggested.
“I think I’ll try that,” Hilary smiled, getting up. “Thanks again,” she smiled as she walked off.
“See ya Hil.” Tyson grinned, getting up again. “Man do I feel like a cookie now, yummy!” He licked his lips, going inside.
***
Hilary skipped round the corner, looking for Kai. She had just seen him go this way, where was he now?
“Kai?” She called, walking slowly on in her search. “Kai?”
She saw the ends of his scarf go inside the dojo.
“Kai!” Hilary ran after him, going inside. Her heart stopped when she didn’t see anyone inside the room.
She sighed; maybe her eyes had played a trick on her.
The shoji shut behind her, making Hilary jump and look.
Kai’s arm was returning to it’s usually position; folded with the other across his chest.
“Kai…” Hilary smiled; she was just happy you see him again.
Kai frowned, still not looking at all amused; then again he always looked that way.
“Kai…” Hilary sighed. “We need to talk.”
“I think we do.” Kai nodded leaning back on the wall, no emotion on his face and in his eyes.
Hilary gathered her shirt ends, not really sure what to say or how to start.
“Well, if you’re not going to say anything,” Kai began, going to leave. “I sure don’t.”
“Kai...” Hilary sniffled, trying not to cry. But his lack of caring was beginning to upset her.
“Well I don’t have anything to say,” Kai told her. “It’s all you here. So wanna tell me what we have to talk about? I sooo could be beating Max or Tyson down right now instead of this.”
“Kai, that’s not fair. You instigated this.”
“No I didn’t,” Kai shrugged. “You did.”
Hilary lost her voice and breath at the things he was saying; he didn’t have to be so hurtful, but she could understand why. It still didn’t mean it didn’t hurt her.
“Kai…” Hilary sniffled, beginning to cry again.
“Go on, sob story,” Kai rolled his eyes.
“You made me cry for nights on end Kai...!!” Hilary sobbed.
“I made you cry?!!? I can't wear my stuff right!?!? How do I feel?! How do you think I feel?!” Kai snapped.
“You won’t speak to me over something stupid I did and you won’t return any calls!!” Hilary tried wiping her eyes, but the tears kept flowing.
“STUPID!?! STUPID?! You were stupid for doing it!!!” Kai growled at her, throwing his arms off his chest. “What were you thinking, or not, for that matter?!?!”
“I dunno!! I just thought you’d like it if I did it, and no hair to get in the way and...” Hilary ran a hand through her hair, tears running down her face.
“I LIKED IT JUST THE WAY IT WAS!!!!!” Kai roared, his cheeks going pink form anger, and partly embarrassment.
“If I knew you’d hate me for it…I never would have done it!!” Hilary said sadly, hanging her head.
Kai sighed, raising a hand to eyes.
“I...I don't hate you...” Kai said softly.
“Then why won’t you speak to me..?” Hilary asked.
“Because I’m mad...” Kai answered, growling a little.
“I knew you hated me over this...” Hilary bubbled, turning away from him.
Kai grabbed her arm, forcing her to look at him.
“I don’t hate you! I wouldn’t get mad over someone I hated...” He blushed.
“Kai...” Hilary forced a smile. Did that mean he really did care about her?
Kai half smiled at her.
“I think you know what I'm getting at...” He blushed a deeper shade; he so wasn’t used to saying those kind of things.
“Kai...I’m sorry...” Hilary apologized, bowing her head.
“...I can't just let it go like that…It hurt me alot what you did…” Kai admitted, letting go of her arm.
“I didn’t mean to hurt you Kai...I ruined a perfectly fun night with you…and what we had...” She almost whispered, very sadly. Upset that the barrier, that the life ring that was keeping the together; Kai’s hand; had just been ripped away.
“You did.” Kai nodded.
“I didn’t mean it...I’m sorry.” Hilary started to cry again, getting more and more upset with each tear. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry!” She roared, crying hysterically.
Kai was now growing increasingly worried about her. She never cried like this and it was horrible to see her this upset; it made his heart clench in his chest and pain radiate across his face.
The next thing Hilary felt was a hand being pressed into her back, forcing her against Kai’s chest as an arm wrapped itself around her, another stroking her hair.
She paused for a second before she cried into his chest, letting it all out as Kai comforted her.
“Tell you what,” Kai smirked slightly.
“What...?” Hilary asked, lifting her tear stained face.
“Let’s make what we had even better,” Kai smiled, kissing her wet cheek and wiping her eyes with his thumb.
“Kai...” she blushed.
Kai smiled at her.
“Well; is that a no...?” He asked.
“No! It’s a yes, yes, yes!!” Hilary nodded.
“Good.” Kai smiled.
“Kai...I feel so bad...” Hilary admitted, leaning her head against his chest.
Kai rubbed her hair, the smile leaving his face.
“You should do; and you’re gonna pay for it.”
“Oh! How? I’ll do anything to make it up to you!” Hilary said eagerly, clasping her hands together.
“Indeed you will!” Kai grinned, his shoulders shaking as he laughed. Evily.
“Kai...?” Hilary gulped, growing worried. “I don’t think I like that laugh...”
“You shouldn’t.” Kai grinned.
“Kai...what are you planning?” Hilary asked, a little frightened.
“You’ll find out soon enough...” Kai smirked, kissing her forehead.
1) He was asleep when she did it.
2) Some people aren’t into getting their genital areas shaved.
3) He never gave her the go ahead to do it.
