REMEMBER I OWN NOTHING
"What the hell are you doing here?" Kai asked. Not able to take his eyes off his father.
"Now Kai is that any way to treat your father; like you’re scared to death of me? I’m hurt." said a man, looking just like Kai only he had black hair instead of blue. "Now come give you dear ole daddy a hug" he said walking closer to Kai. But for every step he took towards Kai, Kai tried to take a step back. But that’s kind of hard when there a desk behind you.
That’s when Mr. Dickason decided to intervene. "I believe that Kai is just in sock. I mean you haven't seen each other in so long. Am I right?" he said walking around his desk and putting a hand on Kai's shoulder.
Kai snapped out of his shock and asked again, "What in the hell is he doing here?"
"Kai your hurt my feelings" the man, Alex, said crossing his arms over his chest.
"Kai, why don't you have a seat so that we can talk like adults please?" Mr. D asked nudging Kai towards the armchair beside the one his father was sitting in.
"What’s going on?" Kai asked looking at Mr. D.
"Well Kai, I’ve told you to come here because starting this weekend you will be staying with father. It will be every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. You will be going to stay with him every other weekend."
Kai just kind of sat there. 'There’s no real need to fight it anymore I’m going with him one way or another’. Kai thought to himself. Mr. D could see how this was tearing him apart. "Fine" Kai said crossing his arms, and turning his head away from them. Then it hit him. 'Oh my God today is Friday!’ Kai stood up from his seat. "Today? I have to go with him today? Why not give me a little more warning or something?" Kai said slamming his hand down on Mr. D desk.
"Kai I’m sorry I just found out today as well" Mr. D said looking up at Kai.
"Son come now. It’s not going to be that bad; it's only three days. Well six days out of a month." Alex said still sitting in his sit.
"Ok Kai, there’s nothing I can do." Mr. D said adjusting his glasses.
"Fine what time do I have to be there?" Kai asked standing straight and crossing his arms.
"Well why don't I give you a ride home? That way you can go ahead and get ready and all that good stuff." Alex said standing up and put a hand on Kai's shoulder. Kai tried to keep himself from flinching, from his touch. "That way I’ll know where to pick you up from now on." Alex said letting go out Kai's shoulder and picking up his briefcase. "How about we go, so you have time to get packed before it gets late" he says and put his hand back on Kai's shoulder nudging him to the door. Kai does nothing but follow.
The whole way to Alex's limo he never takes his hand off Kai. Like he thought that Kai would run away if he did. When they got to the vehicle, Alex's driver Matthew opened the door for them. Alex pushed Kai in first.
It was all normal until Alex started loosening his tie and put his arm around Kai. He pulled Kai to him making Kai start to shake.
"Kai why don't you tell Matthew where your friends live" Alex said into Kai's ear. Kai did as he was told and tried to pull away as his father put the window up to block Matthew's view from them.
The next thing Kai knew was his head hit the back of his seat and his father’s hand was around his neck, and it started to squeeze cutting of his air supply.
"Boy are you crazy acting like a fool back there? Do you know what I could do to you?" Alex growled with his face only inches from Kai's. Kai started to shake uncontrollably. 'Oh God please. Not now.' Kai thought to himself.
"You have grown up so much in all these years that we have been apart" Alex said putting his hand on the side of Kai's face. Making their foreheads touch together. "You are so beautiful Kai. You’re the best thing that that woman has ever given me" Alex said giving Kai a peck on the lips. Kai tried to get away but his father had an iron grip on his jaw. "Just remember this one thing, Kai, you belong to me, and only me boy. If I ever catch you with anyone else I will kill you" Alex growled kissing Kai harder.
