Kiss me Deadly

Kurai: I changed the title of the fic. I had chosen ‘Denial’ on a whim when I wanted to post the story, and a few days ago I was watching something and \'Kiss me Deadly\' popped into my head and it suited this fic...I don\'t know if I heard it on the TV and my brain went \'Hey look! That makes a better title!\' or it actually decided to work on it’s own.

Dragonblade: I can\'t believe I actually WROTE this chapter!! Something happens in it that I NEVER guessed I would have written.

Kurai: You never thought you were going to write a lemon...and look what happened.

Dragonblade: True...oh, and Kai SEEMS OOC, but there is a reason for that! Review and I\'ll update!!

Note: Didn’t change too much in this chapter, just cut out the repetition of ‘Rei’ and ‘Kai’. And I know where I got the title, I have a music video to FLCL by Reel Big Fish called \"Kiss me Deadly\".

Chapter 3

Kai was waiting outside when Rei finally emerged; wearing a loose orange shirt with red trim and ties, and a pair of simple black pants.

\"That colour looks good on you,\" Kai stated.

\"Uh...thanks,\" Rei stammered.

Kai smirked.


An awkward silence soon followed.


\"I can\'t go Kai,\" Rei whispered.

\"Why?\" Kai turned to regard Rei fully, \"what\'s holding you back?\"

Rei diverted his attention to the group of young children crowding around an old rickety dish.

\"Them?\" Kai asked, following the Chinese male’s gaze.

\"They need me; they all look up to me! I can\'t just leave them Kai,\" Rei explained sadly.

\"Rei, they will be fine without you for a bit. It\'s not like you\'ll be leaving forever!\" Kai answered.

\"Think of it as a much needed vacation baby,\" Rei\'s mother said, appearing behind both boys and startling them.

\"But mom! I can\'t! They-\"

\"They will be fine! Kiki and Gaou have been dying to show these kids a thing or two, and put your training to the test!\" She said.

\"Trying to show me up!\" Rei laughed.

\"Exactly!\" Kamiya chirped, \"but Rei, honestly, you\'re doing too much, between school and those kids you\'re going to burn out kitten! You need to get away for a while! And I know you miss your friends,\" she cast a quick glance to Kai.

Rei almost screamed out-loud, he saw something pass behind her eyes that could only be translated as \"I know something you don\'t know!\"

How DID she know?

Kamiya smiled down at him and winked.

The Mau blushed several shades of red, knowing that grin and wink meant she approved of Kai.

\"Mom, are you sure?\" Rei cautioned.

\"Course I am! And I have some extra money you can use for a plane ticket.\"

He smiled slightly, \"thank you.\"

The taller Kon hugged her son, kissing his forehead, \"now, go play with those kids trying to get your attention before they start shouting profanities at you!\"

Rei let out a short laugh and turned to Kai, \"you game?\"

\"Always!\" The Russian grinned.

Rei ran inside to get his blade and launcher and then the two males dashed to the group of kids shouting at them.

The entire day was spent with all the village kids taking turns battling the World champions.

Kai couldn\'t remember the last time he actually had fun blading.


\"Is it always like that?\" Kai asked when the two entered the kitchen of the Kon household.

\"Yup,\" Rei answered, \"they have really improved on their launching, and now that they\'ve taken some pointers from you I might have a bit of a challenge on my hands!\"

Kamiya poked her head into the kitchen, \"it\'s getting late, you\'re welcome to stay the night Kai, there\'s extra linen in the closet.\"

Kai bowed, \"thank you Ms. Kon.\"

She smiled and then retreated to her own room.

Rei didn\'t know whether to cheer or cry. He had spent the entire day with Kai, and now the Russian was staying the night...in HIS room!

Oh gods, oh gods; was the only train of thought that crossed Rei\'s mind.


After the boys ate Kai took a trip to the bathroom and Rei to the linen closet.

Kamiya stood next to the closet as he drew out an extra bed roll.

\"How did you know,\" Rei asked suddenly.

\"Know what?\"

\"About...\" Rei dropped his voice, \"...me liking Kai.\"

She grinned almost mischievously, \"mothers’ instinct,\" with a look past her son’s shoulder she turned and retreated to her room.

Rei spun and saw Kai standing behind him, his arms crossed over his chest as an old habit. The smaller male smiled weakly and led his companion to his room.

\"Do you have...um...need...uh...bed clothes?\" Rei stammered, putting down the extra bed roll.

\"A pair of shorts would be fine,\" Kai answered.

\"Just a pair of shorts?\" Rei squeaked, images of a half naked Kai invaded his thoughts.

The Russian blader’s eyes flashed with something identifiable, but Rei didn\'t like it just the same.

\"Just a pair of shorts,\" Kai said almost seductively.

I\'m not gay...I\'m not gay, Rei chanted as he grabbed an extra pair of shorts and handed them to Kai.

I don\'t like Kai...I don\'t like Kai, he changed his chant, hoping he could convince himself.

Kai nodded in thanks and turned, removing his shirt. Rei forgot his mantra as he watched pale skin being slowly revealed. Toned muscles flexed with every calculated movement. Kai then dropped his pants to reveal long, pale, muscular legs and black briefs that sure as hell didn\'t leave much to the imagination!

Rei spun around quickly, trying to ignore what he saw and change into his own bed clothes. In his haste he missed the evil grin flashed his way.

The two males sat up until the early morning discussing the old days, as well as the new.

Rei suddenly let out a large embarrassing yawn, noticing luckily that Kai tried to hide his own.

The raven-haired male chuckled, \"I think we should get some sleep.\"

Kai nodded in agreement and lay down in his bed roll. Rei took a deep breath to calm himself and prayed to any and every god that would listen that he wouldn\'t have one of THOSE dreams, especially since the subject of THOSE dreams was laying not two feet away.

The Mau turned his back to Kai, hoping that if he didn\'t see him, he wouldn\'t think of him.


Yeah, fat chance!


In the quiet night, Kai\'s steady breathing reached Rei\'s sensitive ears. Even in the closure of his own mind the unfortunate male was plagued with unwanted images.

Kai\'s strong hands pulling the rip-cord of his launcher, twisted to images of his strong hands traveling over tanned skin and dipping between muscled thighs.

His panting as he chased around an energetic 5-year-old who thought it was funny to grab his blade from the dish, turned to images of him panting as trembling muscled arms held him above an equally trembling body. Slick skin sliding against heated flesh as bodies rocked together.

Rei sighed in frustration as his erection strained painfully against his shorts. He rolled onto his stomach and attempted to will it away.

Kai moaned in his sleep and rolled onto his side.

Rei\'s cock twitched at the sounds and the whole new set of imagery it provided.

Kai moaning and panting as he pounded into the willing body beneath him...

Rei launched himself out of his bed and to the bathroom, missing the sliver of crimson and the flash of white as lips curled into a wicked grin.


Rei leaned heavily against the wall next to the drain, his shorts at his ankles and his shirt clasped in his teeth to muffle his cries. His eyes were clenched shut as his hand worked frantically at his straining arousal. His nails raked down the tiled walls before moving to pinch and twist his nipples.

While deep in his fantasy he completely missed the fact that he had an audience.

Kai peered around the frame of the bathroom doorway. His grin widened as he saw Rei, standing outside the only stream of moonlight entering the room, madly pleasuring himself.
Kai squeezed his own beginning arousal through his shorts and moved away from the door, heading back to the bedroom.

Rei shuddered and bit back a cry as he came all over his hand. He let out a staggered sigh and sank to his knees, running his clean hand through his hair.

\"Damn...\" he muttered, \"what is he doing to me?\"
