Chapter 3
Title: Feather light

Notes: This Fic is one of my many strange ones...there is something missing from it...Reviews would be nice.
Dr. Conner stepped out of the office, filling out a couple of forms, he walked down to the waiting room where the four preventers were sitting tensely waiting for some news of Duo's well being. When they caught sight of the good old doctor, they got up form their seats. Dr. Conner raised his hand up for a handshake and introduced himself.
"Good afternoon, my name is Dr. Conner and I have been in charge of your friend you brought in."
"How is he Dr. Conner?" Quatre and Heero said at the same time.
The doctor gave a smile, "your friend though from the few cuts and small bruises would be fine. He was heavily sedated with a paralysis drug for quite some time now. Further test has shown that it is no danger and a full recovery would be on his way. When he wakes up, you are allowed to go in one by one to see him," the doctor said.
The four young men can finally relax their muscles.
Heero one the other hcollcollapsed back into his seat with tears of happiness streaming down his face. Just a few more minutes of waiting and then Sally graced them with her arrival. When the news was given to her, she too collapsed into tears. Wufei muttered something about weak Onna's but gave a small smile, wiping away a bit of wetness that appeared on his eyes, blaming it on the fumes in the hospital.
~Four hours and 23 minutes~
Quatre was getting annoyed that the doctor's have been denying them access to see Duo just because he hasn't woken up yet. It was pass the time the good doctor said the estimate of when Duo would wake and not every one was happy at all.
Sally finally couldn't stand it. She walked over to the discharge table and demanded that the patient be released into her care. Being in the preventers gave her higher authority and connections. Sally argued her way until she has the woman behind the table in tears and a form filled and reto bto be stamped.
"I take it that you are just as anxious to see Duo as we are?" Wufei asked Sally.
"This is bullshit service here! It was no wonder during the war time, you boys rather patch up your own wound then to stay at the hospital!" Sally grounded out. The four young men couldn't help but chuckle.
"You have no idea Sally, you have no idea. Thank you so much for helping us out," Heero said, giving Sally a hug.
"You guys are like family to me, even Duo is. I would do anything for you all," Sally said with a smile. "Now go in there and get Duo out of that bed and into the car!" Sally said.
"Yes ma'am!" the four men saluted with a smile. It was going to be a long day.
The four men walked down the hallway to the room that was said to be Duo's room number and opened the door. There laid Duo, still asleep, but the only difference with the picture was that Duo had his arms and legs tied to the bars of the bed and held in that position and Doctor Conner was there as well, jotting down a few things on his clip board.
Heero saw red. "What is the meaning of this!" Heero growled.
The doctor shrank back and stepped a few steps back when he saw Trowa and Wufei advancing towards him just in case he was going to escape.
"He won't stop laying on his b-back" doctor Conner said. "With him lying on his stomach all the time, it will restrict him from breathing and he could suffocate!" the doctor said.
"Well then, you don't have to worry about that anymore Dr. Conner. We are taking him out of your care now and into someone else's hand that we trust with our lives," Quatre said as he helped Heero untie Duo who was struggling a bit as if he was having a nightmare. And with that, Heero lifted Duo out of bed and Quatre followed close behind.
The doctor was about to protest, but with 2 angry looking preventer agents blocking his way, there was no way he could get past them, much less go after his ex-patient.
Once the men got Duo into the car, Sally drove off into the night, to a safe place called home.
~2 days later~
Duo's health has not improved during the time, though all signs of the drugs were gone. Duo still hasn't woke up yet. His body has been breaking out in cold sweats. Quatre had to tell the Rasheed to change Duo's sheets almost three times a day rather then having his regular servants do so.
Duo was kept nude because all the sweating would soak through his night attire, there weren't too much nightwear to go around. Rasheed was always very protective of Quatre and also very protective of the other ex-Gundam pilots. They were, after all these years, like a family now and Rasheed didn't want any harm to be put on any of them especially now with Duo and his delicate condition.
Duo has been found lying on his stomach just as the doctors had said he would. This worried the guys...but they had no idea what was to come and why Duo's habit would turn out to be something more...

**Authors note: I know a lot of you have been "saying" my grammer is bad...well I admit to you "I KNOW IT IS BAD ALREADY!" I am a struggling college student trying to please my readers. I don't have any time to reread or have my works beta read, I just write for my own pleasure and hope that those who read my fics would like them tonz. I know like 2 other languages beside English. English is my third language and it is really hard to learn because in the Chinese language there isn't any words for "tense" or "past tense" I have to learn the whole thing all over again and it is confusing the heck out of me. In Japanese language as well doesn't have tense, I don't think that asian language has "tense" in them at all! so please bare with me, I am sorry if I am "irritating the heck out of you" for my bad English, but i am still learning the best I can. thanks for you time**
