Chapter 4
Dragonblade: Next chapter, not much to say, I\'m trying to get the plot rolling faster though...because I know this is dragging along agonizingly slow.
Anyway, review and I\'ll update, and thank you to all who reviewed the last chapter! *claps* Writing the bathroom scene was really weird and a first for me so I\'m glad that you liked it! I\'m trying to update faster but I\'m in the middle of moving and my mother yells at me whenever I move towards the computer (she\'s sleeping right now).
Kurai: Thank\'s everyone!! Here\'s the next chapter...kinda short...sorry.
NOTE: I didn’t change much in this chapter…I realized that I used their names way too often and the repetition kind of got on my nerves…and I changed any wording that mentioned Kai was Japanese…because, as I have been corrected, he’s not. Damn internet sites giving me wrong information! But ...please explain how a Russian has a JAPANESE last name ...is he half-and half?

Chapter 4
Rei grumbled in frustration as his precious sleep was interrupted by his mothers’ fae-like laughter. He grabbed his pillow and threw it over his head, trying to block out the musical sound which drifted up from the living room.
Rei finally gave up and threw the pillow aside, casting a glance towards where Kai was last seen.
The bed roll was neatly folded, and all evidence of the dual-haired blader being there was gone.
Rei figured that Kai was down with his mother and that thought alone terrified him to no end.
He groaned and stretched with feline grace, arching his back off of the bedroll and throwing his arms back. The draft he caught between the legs startled him.
Rei\'s long tan legs were spread almost wantonly wide and his boxers had ridden up to his hips, gathering around his crotch and exposing all of his thighs. His bed shirt was twisted and pushed up under his arms, leaving his entire chest in plain view.
Rei\'s proud erection tented his boxers.
\"For the love of the gods!\" Rei shouted in frustration, glad that Kai was not in the room and hoping that the other boy had left before his cock made itself known.
He scrambled out of his bed, searching for a clean pair of clothes for the day. On his way to the bathroom he grabbed a towel, dangling all of the items strategically in front of his groin.
After Rei freshened up he went hunting for Kai and his mother, terrified for his reputation and sanity.
He found both of them together in the living room; which is where he suspected they would both be. Both occupants were sitting at a traditional low table, a blanket covering the table and heaped on the floor. Both had their legs tucked under the blankets within the warmth of its confines. Rei\'s mother, Kamiya, was laughing hysterically and Kai was grinning wickedly.
Rei walked quietly into the room, standing for a moment. When that moment grew too long for him he cleared his throat loudly.
\"Oh! Morning baby! Sleep well?\" Kamiya beamed.
Rei nodded then asked, \"what\'s so funny?\"
Kamiya grinned just as wickedly as Kai, flashing her own small feline fangs.
\"Kai was just telling me some things about all those Beyblade championships that you neglected to tell me.\"
Kai looked over his shoulder to Rei and winked.
Kamiya suddenly threw her hands into the air, \"I just remembered!\"
\"Yes?\" Rei and Kai asked in unison.
\"Well, I talked to Mr.Hinto and he is willing to take you boys out to the city since he has to go there some time this week anyway. I also phoned the airlines this morning while I was out checking to see if we received any mail, and your flight leaves in two days at 8:30am. The only problem is that you\'ll have to leave tomorrow to be at the airport on time so you might have to stay at a hotel...\"
\"I can afford that, don\'t worry,\" Kai offered.
Kamiya bounced happily, \"really? Thank you Kai!\"
\"What about transportation?\" Rei asked.
\"If we need it, I figured I’d just rent a car, easier then attempting to bring mine around,\" Kai answered.
\"Makes sense,\" Rei shrugged.
\"Just don\'t let my kitten near the wheel,\" Kamiya teased.
\"Hey! I\'m not that bad of a driver!\" Rei pouted, Kamiya burst into a fit of giggles.
Kai and Rei spent the rest of that day as they had the previously; with the children in the village.
Of course, the day before, they weren’t physically dragged from the house.
Koyji, the young boy Kai had chased around the day before, promised the stoic blader that he wouldn\'t try to steal his blade again as he tugged on Kai\'s shirt sleeve.

\"You still wear those?\" Rei teased as he leaned over Kai\'s shoulder while the two prepared for bed.
\"Always,\" Kai answered, wiping a damp cloth across his cheeks to wipe off the blue make-up.
\"You didn\'t when I saw you at the tournament,\" Rei countered.
The Russian male blushed lightly, \"I fell asleep on the ride out here and had to wash them off because they were horribly smudged.\"
Rei bit the inside of his cheek to keep himself from laughing.
Needless to say, he failed horribly.
Air rushed out of his nose as a light snort and he broke out into giggles.
Kai spun around and fixed the other male with his famous death glare.
Rei froze, his giggles dying on his tongue...and was immediately met with a face full of water.
The Mau sputtered and attempted to glare at his old team-mate who had his hands already back in the basin of water.
Kamiya looked up from her novel as she heard a thump and a delighted squeal from the bathroom. She shook her head; there was no way in hell she was going to clean up their mess!
Rei stood panting, he was soaked from head to toe and some how, during the water/wrestling fight, his shirt had come undone. Kai was on the ground, equally soaked and panting just as hard.
Both teens were grinning like idiots.
\"I won!\" Rei chirped.
\"Bullshit,\" Kai grinned, grabbing the Chinese male by the ankles and knocking him to the floor, half sprawled over Kai.
\"I won now!\" Kai said before leaning over Rei and placing a fleetingly soft kiss on his lips.
Before Rei could react, Kai was gone, off to get changed most likely. Kai had collected his luggage from an acquaintance he left it with, so now he had extra clothing.
Rei cautiously placed his fingers on his lips, trying to touch reality and make sure he was awake.
\"REI!\"
Said teen was jolted from his thoughts, he looked up to see his mother looming over him.
\"Ai ya boy! You\'re cleaning this up!\"
Rei looked around the bathroom, realizing for the first time that he and Kai had flooded it.
\"Oops...\"
\"Oops indeed! Now, go get some towels!\"
Rei scrambled to his feet, eyes downcast. He intended on leaving the bathroom but instead smacked into something warm and soft.
\"Ow!\" Rei rubbed his forehead and looked up into warm crimson eyes, \"sorry Kai, didn\'t see you there.\"
Kai grinned and handed Rei the towels he was carrying.
The two set about drying up the bathroom in painful silence.
Rei continuously found himself looking to the other male. He was musing over the fact that Kai had KISSED HIM! What did it mean? And why was Kai now acting like nothing happened?
Rei grumbled to himself as he finished sopping up the water, throwing the soaked towel into the hamper.
With his back turned he completely missed the hungry eyes that raked over his form and the predatory, almost evil gaze in once again cold crimson eyes.

Dragonblade: And that was chapter 4...I had to freaking put up with a jealous cat who kept sitting on my notebook and standing in front of the computer.
