Chapter 4

Duo and Quatre where now sitting on the patio that looked out over the forest valley far below Duo’s hair was brushed and braided again into its normal beautiful weave. Doctor G’s mission for Duo while on the west cost was to find the hidden Oz bases and destroy them with bombs seeing as his Gundam would be needing a few repairs. While he was in California he would have to go to school he hated it when Doctor G made him go to school but that was just another part of his missions he pretty much had to do whatever Doctor G told him to do.

Quatre sighed as he finished up with his report he turned off the computer and stood up and walked over and sat down next to Duo. “So what is the verdict for tomorrow?” He wondered feeling miserable already.

“Well I have to go to California I’ll be there probably for a whole year since it’s a huge state I am going to be looking for OZ bases to destroy while Deathscythe gets cleaned up and a few repairs done to him which will take at least five months.” Duo said rubbing his temple feeling frustrated but Doctor G was the one who wanted him to do repairs Duo said it didn’t need to be done Doctor G didn’t agree.

“Oh,” Quatre said feeling some what saddened, “Yeah I am going to be on the other side of the United States.” Quatre laid his head on Duo’s shoulder feeling really sad now. Duo put his arm around his shoulder. “But I… I won’t be alone I am going to be fighting along side 03.”

“Oh,” Duo had been debating on weather or not tell Quatre the rest of his mission but he didn’t feel so bad now since Quatre said that. “Yeah I will be pairing up with 01,” he said clearing his throat. “I am not looking forward to it I am sorry you have to be so far away.
