Chapter 5
Dragonblade: Mwaha, Chapter 5! There was supposed to be more happening in the Hotel, but this was getting too long so Chapter 6 is mainly Hotel fun.

Chapter 5
Early the next day the two teens were supposed to meet Mr.Hinto out by his home at the edge of the village, but, as per usual...Rei slept in.
“Damn it Kai, you were supposed to wake me up!” Rei whined, half-hazardly throwing things into a duffel bag.
Kai shrugged, “I tried.”
He figured it safer to stay outside of Rei’s room as the Mau tossed things to and fro, which was why he was leaning against the door frame.
More clothing was whipped across the room as Rei frantically packed.
Kai chuckled, shifting his own bag higher onto his shoulder.
“Are you done yet?” He asked.
“Almost, damn it!”
Kai audibly sighed, “I’ll meet you outside.”
“I’m done!” Rei shrieked, running after his companion that was already down the hall.
“About time! You’re going to be late!” Kamiya said in exasperation when the two bladers approached.
Rei grumbled in annoyance.
“Don’t be a grump!” Kamiya laughed, grabbing her son in a hug, “have fun, now go, and come back safely.”
“Of course,” Rei smiled, kissing his mother on the cheek softly.
“I’ll look out for him,” Kai offered.
Kamiya winked, “I have no doubt,” don’t hurt him Kai.
Rei blushed scarlet, “mother!” Her and her damn motherly instincts!
“Now go! You’re late! Love you kitten!” She said, shooing both boys out the door.
The trek to Hinto’s house took an average of twenty minutes. For the two, it took only fifteen.
“Damn it Kai! My legs aren’t as long as yours! Slow down!” Rei complained, jogging to keep up with the long-legged Russian.
“Bullshit cat, your legs are as long as mine, you’re just slow!” Kai teased, breaking into a run.
“Damn it!” Rei growled, chasing after the other male.
Hinto was waiting for the youth’s outside of this house.
He greeted them when they approached, “sleep in again Rei?” He asked.
“Well...”
“Yes,” Kai finished for Rei, earning himself a heated glare from the Mau.
“Well, you know what they say, there’s no time like the present! You two can put your bags in the back of the truck,” Hinto gestured towards his small pickup.
The truck was relatively small so Rei was forced to practically sit on Kai’s lap.
He was fishing around for his seat belt when he noticed the nylon strap leading under Kai’s rear.
Oh no, “Umm...Kai, I don’t want you to get the wrong idea or anything, but, umm...I’m going for the seat belt, not your butt.”
Kai smirked and lifted his hips, allowing Rei to fish underneath him for the belt. The flustered Chinese male blushed almost purple as his hand continuously bumped a certain rear-end.
Damn it man, focus! Stop noticing how erotic this looks! Rei cursed to himself, to little avail.
He managed to get his belt done up, so Kai was able to sit his hip back down.
Rei’s hand had lingered a moment too long, which made it end up pinned between the seat and a denim-clad body part.
OH MY GOD! Rei screamed mentally, spinning around to look out the window. He was hoping to hide the blush currently enflaming his cheeks.
Hinto looked into the rear-view mirror when he heard the faint squeak. His eyes narrowed when he saw the lustful predatory gaze directed towards Rei.
It was a three hour drive to the city, and Rei knew that it was going to be a long three hours with his entire right side pressed flush with Kai’s.
Hinto popped in a tape of American country music; in his opinion, the only good thing to come from a Western society.
Make that a VERY LONG three hours.
Rei and Kai cringed.
Kai nudged Rei gently and nodded towards his cargo pocket.
The Mau arched an eyebrow.
The Blue-haired blader smirked and slowly flashed the other teen an MP3 player. Rei almost screamed in relief. Although he hadn’t used his English in a while and couldn’t understand half of what was being sung on the tape that Hinto was playing; the music itself was enough to drive him crazy.
Kai handed Rei the other earphone and then turned on the music, half drowning out the country music.
Maybe it wasn’t going to be that long of a three hour drive.
Kai wriggled down in his seat to get more comfortable, effectively rubbing himself down Rei’s thigh.
Then again, it looked like the three hours just got longer.
Kai’s hand rested casually against Rei’s thigh.
Make that much longer...
The worst part about the situation was that there really weren’t many options on where to place your hands. It was either each other, or cross your arms, and Rei had already lost the feeling in his hands four times.
Once in a while Kai’s hand would twitch, sending signals to the most inappropriate of places within Rei’s body.
When they finally entered the city Kai’s hand dipped to Rei’s inner thigh.
Rei wasn’t sure if it was deliberate, or if it was due to the fact that the truck had jerked, sending it’s occupants flinging forward.
Rei’s hands had also moved, one clutching the door and the other landing on Kai’s knee.
“Alright boys, we’re almost to the downtown area, I was going to let you off here because there are quite a few hotels nearby. Is that alright?” Hinto asked, looking over his shoulder.
Rei looked to his companion, who nodded.
“Yep, that’s fine, thank you!” Rei answered.
Hinto nodded, casting one last glance to Kai. The crimson-eyed boy caught the glare and returned it ten-fold.
Rei, who was staring out the window at the skyscrapers whizzing past the window completely missed the stand-off.

Kai and Rei stood in the lobby of a high-rate hotel.
“Gods Kai, we could have tried at the other hotel! It wasn’t as expensive!” Rei panicked, looking around nervously.
Kai laid his hand on his companions arm, “relax Rei, everything’s fine.”
“Do you think we can get in without a reservation?” Rei asked.
The Russian grinned mischievously, approaching the front desk.
Kai and the front clerk talked quietly for a moment.
The Clerk reeled back suddenly, nodding his head enthusiastically.
Kai motioned for Rei as he turned back to the clerk.
“I must apologize Mr. Hiwatari, but since you had no previous reservations we only have one room available, it’s only a single.”
Rei was about to suggest the other hotel once again when Kai said, “that’s fine.”
“That is?” Rei squeaked. Kai...and him...in a hotel...in the same room...in the same bed...and he thought the drive was long!
“Yes it is, thank you,” Kai took Rei’s elbow and gently led him to the elevator.
“How about we put our stuff in the room and then go get something to eat?” Kai asked.
Rei only managed a slight nod, still stuck on the fact that they were going to be sharing a bed.
Kai treated Rei to a late lunch and then they decided to travel around the downtown area for a bit to kill some time.
After a few hours composed mainly of window shopping, they decided to head back to the hotel.
The elevator was crowded when Kai and Rei stepped onto it. The two were forced to stand flush against once another; for the second time that day.
Rei felt something ghost over his rear and then dip between his legs. The touch was so gentle he wasn’t sure if he was imagining it or not.
The elevator stopped on their floor and Kai put his hand on the small of Rei’s back to guide him out, leaving the Chinese teen no time to dwell on the thought.
Rei’s muscles clenched at the unfamiliar gentle touch as he was led to the hotel room.
They decided to order room-service for something to casually pick at, seeing as though both males were still feeling their late, as well as large, lunch.
“Um, what now?” Rei asked absentmindedly, exploring the room.
“I was thinking we could rent a movie,” Kai offered.
Rei’s head popped out of the bathroom, “’kay!”
Kai chuckled at the others curiosity over the new room and set out to order a movie.
Rei wasn’t used to Western-style furniture, which was what was influencing the hotel room. He spent most of his time in between China and Japan. Even though he had been to Western societies, he wasn’t completely used to it. The bed most of all fascinated him; it was a lot larger and softer than the futon he was used to.
He peeked under the bed and then hopped onto it, bouncing lightly on the mattress.
“I’ve been meaning to ask,” Rei said, playing with the comforter.
“Hm?” Kai mumbled, clicking through the movie selections.
“How did you convince the clerk to give us a room?”
Kai chuckled low in his throat, a quite evil sound; “you’d be surprised how far money will take you.”
After they confirmed the movie purchase Rei curled up on the floor in front of the TV and Kai sprawled out on the bed.
Kai had told Rei that there was more than enough room on the bed for both of them but the Mau forcibly argued that he could read the subtitles better from his place on the floor. Kai knew that he was ‘full of shit’, as Takao liked to say. Rei’s eyesight was better than all the bladers put together, but he kept it to himself.
If only he knew the real reason, Rei chuckled softly to himself; sorry Kai, I don’t want to lay next to you right now because there is no way in hell I’ll be able to pay attention to the movie and the close proximity will bring the circus to my pants, ai ya, can you imagine, he’d probably kill me bare-handed if he knew! Rei mentally shook his head and diverted his attention to the movie which had just started to play.
Kai smirked sadistically at the back of Rei’s head.
Oh, he knew all right...he was just biding his time.

Plus both words sound the same. Yes I am aware that I am quite insane.
