Disclaimer:
I do not own Full Metal Alchemist, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Act Two: Scene Two
I'm going to try and update everyday from now on, or every other day, whether you all like it or not! Hah. Anyway, I've finally made it past 1000 hits, and that's awesome, for me anyway. 1068 to be exact. I'm satisfied with hits rather than you all wanting to review (Though I would still love to hear from any of you), and I'm actually sure, that most of you, skip past this part and straight to the story, so I can say whatever without any repercussions... I so know that that is not how it's spelled. Anyway...I just wanted to know if anyone remembered me saying I had a surprise for this story, and it's a huge ass one... I'm not even sure if I like it, but it'll sure as hell be fun to type.
Ri: Thank you for your positive reviews, it actually makes me update cause I get so happy reading them (Not in that way XD) ... I haven't had a bad one so far, so I'm counting that as a blessing.
AnimeFanAtic: I'm glad you like it and that you took the time to review, I actually wasn't sure if people would like it, hence all the smut. Heh, anyway...
Disclaimer: Whether I, or you like it or not, the only thing I do not own, besides FMA is you. Which I will eventually, it just may take some time.

In the Darkness, you try to reach out and find something to hold onto, but are met with reality as you do. There is no where there, just you.

It had past about a week since their encounter on the sidewalk and Roy hadn't done anything or really said anything to Ed except for the necessary things. No one noticed the difference, not even Al. Ed had become quite good at acting and Roy, he always was.
Ed walked back in their dorm room and was met by Al. "Any new missions brother?" Ed shook his head and yawned, "No, and the bastard doesn't have any new leads either. We're stuck here for awhile." The blond threw himself down on the couch and shifted till he found a comfortable position.
"Well, what do we do until then?" Al asked as he stood by Ed, a thoughtful look, or as thoughtful a suit of armour could look, on his face. Ed shrugged, "Read I guess. Al, can ya hand me that book?" His younger brother nodded and handed it to him obediently, and watched as Ed flipped through some of the pages before settling on one. Minutes past and the clock on the wall ticked away but neither brother seemed to notice, both too lost in their own thoughts.
Suddenly Ed put the book aside and stood up, stretching, "Hey, Al? I'm going to go out for awhile, I'll be back in a bit." With that he turned and left, leaving Al in the room.

The library was the only place that Ed really thought about going to when he had decided to leave, but his legs had a different idea. They ended up in front of Roy's office. For some reason unknown to him, his heart started beating sporadically and his palms (or palm in this case) became sweaty. What was he so nervous about? This was just Roy, right? He shakily reached a hand out and grabbed onto the handle and was about to twist when an all too familiar noise came from inside.
Freezing, he stopped breathing all at once, whether it was to hear better, or he just couldn't bring himself to, he didn't know. Pressing his ear against the door he heard Roy saying, "Nnn, oh gods... just like that..." His auto mail hand clenched at his side and he was about to walk away in anger when a voice, that not even in his wildest nightmares had he imagined spoke, or rather moaned, "Ah, Roy... stop teasing.... I swear I'll... shoot it off...Ah... if you, ngh... keep this up...." The voice was that of Lieutenant Hawkeye.
His world all but crashed down at that moment. Lieutenant Hawkeye?! How in the hell did this happen, how could... what? He didn't understand. What the hell was the matter with Roy? Was he so bad in bed or repulsive that he wanted her? Not that she wasn't attractive or anything but... her and Roy? How...? He just couldn't understand. It would have almost seemed comical to him if he wasn't so heartbroken. And the thing that confused him the most wasn't what was going on in the office in front of him, but what was going on, inside of him.
Why did he feel so hurt that he knew Roy was always off gallivanting with other women, that he screwed them at his leisure and at the expense of his heart? Wait, his heart? Did he love Roy? Is that why he...
He stumbled back from the door, hand covering his mouth. He felt torn inside, worse than he had ever felt aside from the constant guilt of getting Al's body back. What was happening to him? How could he fall in love with Roy? Why him of all people? Why someone who loved to be single and loved every thing with two legs and breasts?
He felt dizzy as all these thoughts raced through his head and he collapsed against the wall facing Roy's office. He didn't know how long he had been there and at this moment he was too lost in his thoughts to care.
And that's why he never heard the noise stop, or the soft murmur of people. Nor did he hear their footsteps walking towards the door. His head bolted up when the light hit him and as his golden eyes locked onto coal black, the only thing he heard was, "Ed?"

Sorry this is so short, but I thought this was a good place to end it... I wish I could have made it longer though. I might put up a chapter after this of how Roy and Hawkeye came to together, and I think it's kind of surprising how they did, but I might now... Anyway....
