Chapter 7

It had shocked Rai that day when Kai had just come up and kissed him. Straight on the lips as if it was nothing. He was not sure if Kai was playing one big trick on him or if their was some sort of feeling to it. This confused Rai a whole lot and his fist kiss had been taken by his enemy and the other part to it is, it was a guy who kissed him.

Rai just didn’t understand, first they where talking to each other how their not into the same sex. Then Kai just comes up and kisses him, what was that all about not being gay what a lire. Rai just sat on his bed still couldn’t admit that he had just been kissed by another guy and all. ‘What the hell happened why did he kiss me’ Rai thought to himself. He touched his lips and still could remember that soft warm touch.

He remembered what had happened after Kai had kissed him.

Flashback

Kai pulled apart and saw the stunned look on Rai’s face, of course Rai didn’t say anything. The bluenette stood a foot away from the shocked Rai. Kai turned around and was heading to the door. “Why WHY KAI” Rai yelled he walked up to Kai furious at what he had just done. Kissing him and then walking away, thinking he could just get away with it. Kai faced him and Rai grabbed the collar of Kai’s shirt real tightly.

Rai had never been so angry before “you think that you can just kiss me and then walk away” Rai said. “You had told me that you weren’t into guys then why, why did you kiss me Kai TELL ME” he was really furious now. “Let go” was all that Kai said, he grabbed Rai’s wrists and pulled them down. Rai could tell that Kai was far stronger than he was, Kai then turned back around and left the dorm room.

“You, you JERRKK” Rai ran straight to the bedroom and locked the door.

End of Flashback

Rai put his face into his hands “you’re the stupid idiot” he said to himself referring to Kai. A tear then ran down Rai’s cheek, then another and another. He felt the cold wet tears falling down his face. ‘Why am I crying these tears their just falling on their own’ he thought to himself. Soon Rai was just balling in tears, he was so messed up now. He could never forgive what Kai had just done. Rai laid down on his bed and looked up to the ceiling “I wish I could just rewind all of this and start again” he said to himself.

Three hours later Rai had been asleep when he soon heard some knocking on the bedroom door. He got up and walked over to the door “who is it” he asked wanting to know who the person is before opening the door. “It’s me now open up” Rai knew that it was Kai, he was going to unlock the door. His hand was on the lock but for some reason it did not want to turn to unlock the door. Rai was to afraid to let Kai in, let alone just even to look at him. “Rai open the door I need to grab something” Kai told him getting rather un patient.

Rai took his hand of the lock and put it down to his side, he just looked at the door knob. “No” he said in a whisper, “what” Kai thought he heard Rai said something. “I SAID NO” Rai yelled out backing himself away from the door. Kai had, had enough he started to fiddle around with the doorknob. Rai could see the lock on the door knob starting to twist it would take Kai just a few seconds and he would have the door unlocked.

Kai had finally got it he was just about to open the door when he felt a heavy wait against it from the inside. Rai had put his whole body against the door so Kai couldn’t get in “Rai stand away from the door” Kai said from the outside. “NOOO YOUR NOT COMING IN” Rai yelled at him again. Kai pushed against the door he got it open just a bit but Rai was still able to stop it from completely opening.

“Rai I have had enough I have no choice if you wont let me in I will just barge the door open” Rai knew Kai was serious. Kai really didn’t want to do this but Rai was being really stubborn, so he had no choice. He took a few steps back, he then ran towards the door and bolted it open. Rai went flying back and fell to the floor. The door was finally opened and Kai was panting he had to use so much force just to open it.

He looked down at Rai and saw him laying their on the floor “if you had just opened the door like I told you to I wouldn’t have had to do that” he told Rai. He then saw a tear fall down Rai’s cheek. “Why Kai why did you have to do that why did you have to kiss me, now I feel all screwed up inside” Rai said in a low voice. “How can you just stand their as if it had never happened, it might have felt like an ordinary kiss to you but to me it didn’t” Rai then said. “Your taking it so seriously” Kai told him. “You might think that but did you ever consider how I might feel” Rai asked him. “No” was all Kai said still just standing their calm and being his usual self. “Huh I thought so” Rai replied, he stood up and walked past Kai and left the dorm room, not bothering to put any shoes on, he just left.

At that single moment when Rai had passed Kai, Kai had never felt so guilty in all his life. It was is a sharp pain went through his entire body. He himself didn’t know why he kissed the raven hair either. All Kai did know though was that he had just crumbled the feelings of a poor innocent boy. He felt completely awful because of it, “this is such a pain” Kai said to himself.

Rai was walking through the school yard and it was hard to realise how quiet it was with all the college student either away for the weekend or a doing something fun with friends. He sat at a bench under a big oak tree which had plenty of shade from the sun. He looked down at his feet ‘he could have least apologised’ Rai thought. Of course even though Rai had only know Kai for a week. Their was no way he was going to apologise to him after all they didn’t get along since the beginning.

“Hey Rai” he looked up and saw Cole walking towards him “can I sit with you” he asked, “sure” Rai replied. Cole sat down next to him and leaned back putting his head up looking to the sky and the branches of the tree which was in front of it. “So where’s Tyson” Rai asked him “he went to go see his grandfather, he asked if I wanted to go but I have a few assignments I need to finish before Monday” Cole told him. He noticed the gloomy look on Rai’s face, “having a bad day” he asked Rai. “I guess you could say that” he replied, “let me guess you had an argument with Kai again am I close” Cole said. “Your pretty much on the mark” Rai replied, he couldn’t tell Cole what really happened though.

“So what did you fight about this time, who gets to watch their program on TV” Cole joked. He laughed but Rai didn’t seem to laugh with him. Cole knew now that something was deffiently wrong. It seemed that Rai didn’t just have a normal argument with Kai their was something else missing.

“You know I don’t know what really happened between the two of you but I can tell that you didn’t have one of those normal fights you usually have” Cole said with a serious tone in his voice. Rai wanted to tell Cole what really happened but for some reason he felt to ashamed about it. He couldn’t just straight out and tell Cole that Kai his college enemy had just kissed him a few hours ago.

By the silence Cole understood that their was something troubling Rai, however he just didn’t want to talk about it. So Cole decided to leave it and he would just wait until Rai is ready to tell him. “Say Rai do you want to go get something to drink” Cole asked him, “yeah that would be good thanks” Rai replied.

They both stood up when Cole saw the Rai wasn’t wearing any shoes “firstly I think you might need to get yourself some shoes” he told Rai. He had completely forgotten that he hadn’t put on any shoes when he left the dorm. “I’ll be back in a minute” he told Cole and ran of towards the dorms. He just hopped that Kai was still not their, he walked into his room once he got their. He put his shoes on which wear near the front door and left without making a sound.

He ran back out and met Cole near the front gates, their was a small café about a 5 minute walk from the college. So they both decided to go their to help Rai get his mind of, of things and especially Kai.
