Chapter 8

It was soon Sunday and Rai was still asleep in his bed he had not seen Kai since yesterday before he went to the café with Cole. The alarm went and Rai slowly woke up, he wiped his eyes and noticed that Kai’s bed was still empty. When he had come back it was about 4:30pm and Kai still hadn’t returned. He thought that Kai might have probably come back during the night but he hadn’t. It wasn’t like Rai was worried or anything he was just wondering were Kai might be.

He walked over to the bathroom to wipe his face to wake up propley. He was only wearing some boxer shorts and a singlet. He walked out of the bedroom and was about to go to the kitchen when he saw a body on the lounge. The body’s face was covered up by a pillow which covered the top part of the face except for the nose and mouth. ‘A corpse is in my room, oh no people might accuse me or murder that’s the last thing I need’ Rai thought to himself. He was over reacting of course, it could only be one person. Though Rai always thought in abit of a different kind of way.

He slowly walked over to the lounge with the still body on it. ‘Alright Rai no matter who it is you did not kill anyone’ he thought. He brought his hand down and grabbed the pillow and slowly lifted it of the persons face. Once it was of he saw who it was “AAHHHH KAI’S DEAD” by yelling that sure Kai would have woken up, but he didn’t. Now this was really making Rai nervous. “Ok calm down what to do what to do” he said thinking. “Wait I know CPR, that will work” he told himself.

He got on his knees and opened Kai’s mouth ‘man I cant believe I’m going to do this’. He slowly bent down, his face got closer to Kai’s. His mouth was trembling, he then put his lips on Kai’s but suddenly a hand grabbed him on the head and pushed his face down. Rai wasn’t giving Kai CPR anymore he was actually kissing him. It happened to be Kai’s hand who was pushing him down.

Rai soon felt something trying to get into his mouth, his eyes widened with such surprise. “Mmm K” he tried to say stop to Kai when he could slightly get his lips away but Kai pushed him down again. This time something did go into Rai’s mouth and he knew what it was and it happened to be Kai’s tongue. Kai was still asleep so he had no idea what he was doing until he felt a slap across his face. That woke him up, he noticed that Rai’s lips where on his, he let go of Rai. “So why are you kissing me in my sleep” Kai asked him. “WHAT YOU WHERE THE ONE WHO KISSED ME YOU IDIOT” Rai yelled at him. “What ever” Kai stood up and headed to the bedroom.

Rai didn’t have the energy to yell at him anymore, this time he wasn’t just kissed but Kai’s tongue was in his mouth this time. He ran to the sink and turned the tap on “gross, gross, gross” he said. He tried to wash his tongue as best he could “what are you doing”, Rai turned around and saw Kai standing in the kitchen. “What am I doing WHAT AM I DOING I AM WASHING MY TONGUE AFTER YOU PUT YOURS IN MY MOUTH YOU JERK” Rai yelled at him. He did have a bit of energy to say that to Kai.

“Man you yell a lot” Kai said he walked over to the cupboard and got out a mug for himself. “Well what do you expect, what I just ignore that you had put your tongue in my mouth, do you realise how gross that is” Rai told him. “You’re a virgin aren’t you” Kai straight out and said, “that is none of your business and besides your changing the subject” Rai told him again. “God still being a virgin at your age no wonder you have a temper” Kai replied.

Rai really felt like punching him right now “well how would you know if I’m a virgin or not” Rai asked. ‘Fuck why did I just say that’ he then thought to himself feeling like a complete idiot. Kai looked at him “if you think that being frenched kissed is gross then that proves that you have never had sex or a girlfriend but in your case a boyfriend” Kai told him. “Boyfriend hey didn’t I tell you I’m not gay” Rai told him. “Sure you are you just haven’t realised it yet and besides you’ve kissed me and I’m a guy” Kai replied.

“Hey you’re the one who kissed me, so that would mean you are the gay one here not me” Rai said. “You liked it though” he turned around holding a cup of coffee he had just made for himself. “Didn’t you” he put his coffee down and walked over to Rai, Rai stepped back but was blocked of by the counter. Kai came closer until he was just an inch a part, he looked straight at Rai. His hand moved towards the backed up boy, Rai closed his eyes but nothing happened. He opened them and noticed that Kai had just grabbed the newspaper which was behind him.

“Did you think I was going to kiss you” Kai asked him walking to the table and placing his coffee down. He sat down on the couch and opened the newspaper up and started to read the articles.

“Yeah in your dreams” Rai replied and headed back into the bedroom and shut the door. Kai grabbed his coffee and smiled before taking a sip.

In another Dorm Tyson had just arrived back and went up to his dorm room to surprise Cole. He quietly walked in and saw that Cole wasn’t in the lounge or the kitchen. Their was only one place he could be and that was the bedroom. The door was opened so he hid behind the wall ‘ok on the count of three’ he thought to himself smiling. ‘One, two’ “Tyson is that you” a voice asked him which happened to be Cole’s. “Man how did you know it was me” Tyson asked walking into the bedroom.

Cole was sitting at his computer typing an assignment up. “I could hear you breathing” he said. Tyson walked up behind Cole and wrapped his arms around his neck, he then kissed Cole on the side of his neck. “Miss me” Tyson asked, he then licked Cole near the ear “mm” Cole tried not to moan. “Tyson please I have only today to finish of my assignment it has to be handed in tomorrow” Cole told him.

Then Tyson flopped onto his lap “I just get back and your telling me I have to wait, you know I’m not a really patient person” Tyson told him. “Tell me about it but I’m serious you will just have to this time” he replied. “Sorry” he then said to Tyson “hey that’s ok I guess I can wait but you owe me” Tyson replied.

He got of Cole’s lap and laid down on the double bed and looked up to the ceiling. “So did you do anything besides working Cole” Tyson asked. “Well I went down to the shops to grab some food, then I saw Rai” he told Tyson. “How is the guy, living with Kai must be a nightmare for him” Tyson said with a laugh. “Well actually” Cole stopped typing and turned his chair around to face Tyson. “When I saw him yesterday he wasn’t his usual self” he said, Tyson sat up. “In what way” Tyson then asked him. “I’m not sure he just seemed really upset and confused about something” Cole put his hands together.

“I think that something might have happened between him and Kai but I’m not sure what” Cole told Tyson. “Did you ask him” Tyson asked his boyfriend “no but I could tell he didn’t really want to talk about it, so I just left it at that” Cole replied. “Maybe their’s something going on between the two” Tyson added. Cole looked at him strangely “I highly doubt that, Rai completely hates him remember” Cole told him. “Maybe so but what about if either Kai or Rai did something know one would have ever expected, maybe that’s why Rai was not himself” Tyson told Cole.

“Put it this way, just say that your sister slept with someone right after being really drunk” Tyson started saying. “Hey why does it have to be my sister” Cole asked him with a stern look on his face. “Okay lets just say Max’s sister slept with someone after being really drunk and she had slept with the one person she had never thought that she would ever sleep with, how do you think she would feel afterwards” Tyson said giving out a great example of putting it.

Cole looked at him and thought “well I guess she would feel kind of messed up inside and confused about the whole thing” Cole told him. “Balls eye maybe that’s what happened to Rai and Kai” Tyson said. “What Rai sleeping with Kai give me a break Tyson there is no way in hell those two would sleep with each other” Cole replied. “Who knows but wouldn’t it be shocking if they actually did” Tyson said back with a smirk on his face.

It was finally Monday, Rai would have never thought how exciting a Monday was because then he would barely see Kai for the day. His first class was at 10:45am so he had decided to meet up with Max and the others before hand.

They all met up at their usual table in the cafeteria, “so Tyson how is your grandfather” Max asked him. “He’s still kicking but he’s good” Tyson replied, “is something bothering you Rai” Max asked him. “No its nothing I’m fine but thanks for asking” Rai replied “well that’s good I was a bit worried you haven’t really said much but as long as your ok” Max said. “So Rai what did you do” Tyson asked him. “Nothing really” he told him “are you sure” Tyson then asked “yes I am quite sure” Rai replied.

Tyson really wanted to know if something really did happen between both Rai and Kai. “So Rai what was it like spending the whole weekend with Kai” Tyson then asked him. “Terrible but I survived” Rai replied. “So nothing happened between you two” Tyson then said, “Tyson why are you asking Rai questions for, he has already told you that he didn’t do anything on the weekend” Max told him. “Just wondering that’s all” Tyson replied to Max’s comment, “my class starts soon so I better go” Rai stood up and left his friends.

“Yeah I better go to” Tyson told them and got up as well and left the cafeteria. He followed behind Rai ‘ok now’s the time to get it out of him’ Tyson thought to himself. Rai was just about to pass the men’s toilets, when someone pushed him in. “What the, Tyson what are you crazy” Rai said. Tyson locked the door “hey what are you doing I have to get to class” Rai told him but Tyson blocked the door. “Not until you answer me this one question” Tyson said to him “fine what is it” Rai asked. “What happened between you and Kai” Tyson asked him “Tyson what’s this all about” Rai wondered. “Just answer the question yes or no, I’m sorry to be doing this but if something happened to you I want to know, because, because you are my friend” Tyson told him.

Rai looked at him “Tyson I” Rai looked away “please Rai tell me I can tell that something is bothering you and I’m worried, if Kai did something to you I”. “He didn’t do anything” Rai quickly said “I am sorry to have made you worry Tyson but nothing happened between him and me, I’m just a little tied that’s all” Rai told him. He felt terrible having to lie to his friend who was rather worried about him. “Are you sure” Tyson asked “yes” Rai replied, “I’m sorry Rai I just don’t like it when something happen's to my friends that’s all” Tyson told him. “That’s alright I would be the same” Rai replied.

They both walked out of the bathroom and went their separate ways. ‘I’m sorry Tyson I’m really sorry’ Ray ran through the halls to get to his next lesson. The day was passing by quickly for Rai until he had Drama. He really enjoyed doing it because acting was his life, he just loved to do it. However Kai was in his class and after what happened between the both of them on the weekend, he wasn’t sure how he was going to cope.
